Our story

Beginning

Co-Founders Pirro Cece and Andi Tocaj met on the soccer field some time in 2010. A few years after, they decide to launch a company. They set out to build a space where you can take and teach all sorts of classes (Class) while also getting your best work done (& Coworking). Class & Co was born in January 2018.

260 Ainslie

After a lifetime of searching for the perfect location, we stumbled on 260 Ainslie Street. This former tannery in the heart of east Williamsburg was perfect. There was abundant sunlight, a rooftop and a gracious landlord. Freelancers from all industries were eager to try the newest coworking space in East Williamsburg out, while also teach classes in the large classroom with built in bleacher seating. With fast WiFi, unlimited printing and phone booths, members have all the amenities necessary in achieving maximum productivity.

750 Manhattan

Class & Co’s Greenpoint location opened it’s doors on June 2020, during the peak of COVID-19. Friendly neighbors started using the space as many young professionals were working from home. Slowly, the community started to grow, and so did this location. Soon after, a hidden Speakeasy Bar was constructed inside the space, for members to enjoy. Class & Co’s Speakeasy Bar has hosted several networking events, celebratory events and photo shoots! The rooftop terrace is around 2,500 sq. ft. and is furnished with lounge furniture, bistro tables & chairs, umbrellas and romantic lighting. Members can catch some great Manhattan skyline views as well.
